Please note that this box was sent complimentary, but this post represents 100% of my opinion.

I first discovered Sakuraco after returning from a memorable trip to Japan. Like many travelers, I wasn't quite ready to leave the food behind and started looking for ways to keep exploring Japanese flavors from home. That's when I came across this monthly subscription box, which focuses on traditional Japanese snacks, teas, and artisanal treats sourced from different regions across Japan.

What I love about receiving a Sakuraco box is the surprise factor. Opening it feels a bit like unwrapping a gift, as you never quite know what you're going to find inside. Many of the products are labeled in Japanese, making the experience even more authentic. Fortunately, each box comes with a beautifully designed booklet that introduces the featured region, shares cultural insights, and explains every item in detail.

The box I received highlighted the flavors and traditions of Japan, from Mt Fiji surroundings , offering a mix of sweet and savory treats, along with tea pairings that made the experience feel even more special. As we were going through the snacks, Jodi and I found ourselves reminiscing about our time in Japan and talking about places we'd love to revisit someday. It's amazing how food can instantly bring back memories of a trip.

One of the things I enjoy most about Sakuraco is its focus on regional specialties and seasonal products. Every box offers a chance to discover something new, whether it's a traditional rice cracker, a delicate wagashi, or a tea I had never tried before. It's a fun way to experience different tastes, textures, and culinary traditions without leaving home.

So, if you would like to try, check Sakuraco website: you can even try just one box and see if you like it!

Enjoy (I did)!
